Jim and Wayne's Fabulous Adventures

So, we're off on another adventure! And, like all our adventures in the past, there's been a lot of thought into where we're going, what we're seeing and doing, and how it's all going to happen. Maybe too much thought. But, then again, this time we've managed to keep a few days here and there without any real solid plans - no hotel reservations, just broad ideas about where we might go, and what me might do between point "a" and point "b"... I'm setting this thing up in advance so I can (if all goes well) simply open up the blog, add photos and a few thoughts, and not spend every evening of our holiday doing this instead of being there! Wherever "there" is!

Cheers!

Dordogne

So, now we're in the Dordogne, staying in Sarlat-la-Canéda but getting lost on every road that leads anywhere out of this town.  Weather... not so great.  Sights, however, are still pretty cool.  We totally recommend this town as a place to stay on your journey to France.

Geese are popular in Sarlat-la-Canéda and the rest of the Dordogne for the foie gras their over-stuffed livers provide

Backways in La Roque-Gageac

Font de Gaume is one of (if not the only) Cro Magnon caves you can still enter to see the prehistoric cave art in this portion of France.  Absolutely incredible!
